Orenes Group It acquires a fleet of 850 gaming machines in hospitality establishments in Catalonia, mainly in the provinces of Barcelona and Tarragona, in a strategic operation that reinforces its positioning and sustained growth in Catalonia.
The transaction includes several companies belonging to the Aguilar i Balcells families, all with a strong track record in the Catalan market, which have achieved an EBITDA of €10,5 million over the past 12 months. The Aguilar i Balcells families, who retain their shares in these companies, will continue to be involved in their management alongside Grupo Orenes. This decision reflects the Group's commitment to a growth model based on trust, customer proximity, and local expertise—key elements in the hospitality sector.
With this operation, Grupo Orenes consolidates its presence in Catalonia as one of the priority markets for the Group, both for its economic dynamism and for its special relevance in the sector.
